Welcome to the first hostel in Albania! Tirana Backpacker Hostel has a great location in the center of Tirana. From here you can walk to the historical center and even near the Blloku caffe area.
Our friendly staff will always help with info, tips and advice for your trips around Tirana and Albania. The hostel is in walking distance from all the main attractions of Tirana.
Near to the hostel (and with ‘near’ we mean 100m) you will find an internet center, an ATM, an exchange office, a supermarket, a grocery store, restaurants, a jazz club and some caffes.
Tirana Backpacker Hostel is a small and nice hostel. We have 25 beds now, dorms with 5-6 beds.
Guests will share a big kitchen and the nice garden. Our cinema shows nice movies everyday at 19.00. In summer we start also a bar down in the cellar. Fresh linen and towels are offered for free. There is plenty of common space in our hostel to enjoy.
Reception for check-in is opened 08.00-22.00.

TAXI
tell the driver to bring you to LICEU, the high school of arts, we are in front of the school, at the opposite corner. We are very near to Swiss Embassy as well.
WALKING
From ‘Skenderbej Square’, the central square of the city, take the main boulevard ‘Deshmoret e Kombit’, south of the square, or behind Skenderbej statue.
Walk through the boulevard and after passing Pyramide you’ll see the Rogner Europa Park Hotel on your left. Turn left and take Str. Ismail Qemali, between Rogner Hotel and the Government building (you’ll see the soldiers).
Walk for about 200 metres and where Str. Ismail Qemali crosses with Str.Elbasanit you’ll be in front of Tirana Backpacker Hostel, a yellow, two-store villa with a green iron gate, at the corner.
